Automatic Blister Packing Machines by Pharmateq are essential for the pharmaceutical industry, ideal for packing oral tablets, capsules, hard and soft gelatin, and ampoules.

These machines are built under stringent quality controls to ensure reliable, long-term production. The special design ensures perfect synchronization between the sealing of aluminum foil and the PVC base web. Operating on the flat forming and rotary sealing principle, the machine delivers high output.

The PVC base film web is drawn from a reel and fed into the blister forming unit, where blisters are continuously created. The web then moves along a guide track to the sealing unit, where the product is filled into the blisters by an automatic filling unit. The aluminum foil is drawn from a separate reel and fed into the sealing unit, where it is hermetically sealed with the base web, enclosing the product.

An indexing mechanism then feeds the filled and sealed web into the pack punch unit, where the packs are separated from the web, and the web trim is sheared off for collection. The blister packs can either be collected in bins or conveyed over a belt for further handling. The machine can also be linked to a cartoner.
