Application & Process
The PHARMATEK De-Duster is pharmaceutical processing equipment designed to remove fine surface dust from tablets using a vibratory effect. This machine can be directly linked to any type of high-speed tablet press.

In the PHARMATEK Spiral De-Duster, a vibrated spiral path with a perforated sieve is utilized. The tablets enter the center of the perforated sieve directly from the tablet press and are gently vibrated. The tablets move forward, turning and rotating along the spiral path of the perforated plate to the outer peripheries.

In the PHARMATEK Elevating De-Duster, vibrated uphill-type sieves are employed. The tablets enter the bottom inlet of the perforated sieve directly from the tablet press and are gently vibrated. The tablets move forward, upward, turning, and rotating along the spiral uphill path of the perforated plate to the outer edge at the top of the sieve.

These processes effectively remove the layer of surface dust and edges of the tablets. The dust is collected by a dust extraction system through a hose pipe spigot connection, allowing the tablets to fall into a container.'
