Ribbon Mixer Blender
**Application & Process**
The Pharmateq Ribbon Mixer Blender is used for uniform dry mixing in industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, food, and plastics. It features a U-shaped trough with a Double Helical Ribbon Agitator, driven by a motor and gearbox.
During operation, the ribbons push the material back and forth. The outer ribbon moves the material from the ends to the center, while the inner ribbon moves it from the center to the ends, creating a counter-current motion for even blending. Mixing takes 15-20 minutes, achieving up to 95% homogeneity. A bottom discharge allows easy unloading and cleaning.
