Colloid Mill
**Application & Process**
The Pharmateq colloid mill reduces particle size in suspensions or emulsions by applying hydraulic shear. It is commonly used for superfine grinding, homogenizing, emulsifying, and mixing liquids, ointments, and viscous products in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and emulsion industries. The product is fed into the gap between the rotor and stator, where it undergoes shearing and rubbing. The processed product exits through a discharge pipe and can be re-circulated if needed.
