IV Bottle Leak Test Machine
Application & Process
The Pharmateq leak test machine is designed to check for leakage and assess the integrity of joints in filled IV fluid plastic bottles. This system is integrated with visual inspection, sticker labeling, and a packing conveyor belt.
The Pharmateq IV Plastic Bottle Leak Check machine consists of a specialized stainless steel conveyor belt with a hook system, a rotary bottle forwarding assembly, a Hylum wheel with rubber belts, and a spring-loaded pressure assembly and drive unit. The machine's structure features a stainless steel frame with an S.S. slat chain, built from S.S. square pipes and supported on adjustable bolts.
The central S.S. conveyor belt transports the filled IV fluid plastic bottles, manually loaded into a hopper, to the rotary wheel via a specialized belt, one by one. These bottles are automatically transferred to the rotary forwarding wheel and then to the Hylum wheel for pressurized inspection. The pressure applied to the bottles is adjustable based on requirements, utilizing the spring-loaded mechanism. Under pressure, any leaking bottles become visibly noticeable due to the increased material flow and are manually rejected. Bottles that pass the test are conveyed to the next stage for sticker labeling. If the joints of any bottles are weak, they will leak under pressure and will be rejected.
